The latest information from Barrunning.
This is a downloadable article that I took part in a few years ago. Great answer by all that took part. I like how my answer are short and to the point.
Core strength is a made up term that means whatever you want it to mean. There are no test for core strength that prove weakness of strength of the core. When you ask anyone about their core they will say they train core all the time.If you train it all the time and everyone does some form of core training then why is it weak still?
I look back upon this article and think to myself, "boy this is garbage". It is garbage because I wasn't thinking for myself. I was thinking like everyone else was thinking. With a pure bias for what I thought I saw. The guy in the video is terrible at starting but this start by Jeter is pretty good and was ahead of its time. The reason it is a good start, is because it gets her to run without her having to stand up. The same thing Usain Bolt start did for him and the same thing Christian Coleman start does for him.
Article that I appeared in from SpeedEndurance .com. This was a round table type discussion from Speed Endurance. It gives insight into my thinking back then and where it has lead me today. One thing I like is that I have grown and dialed in the information over the years since this article was written.
Video from Youtube that shows we should all relax and have fun.
