Levers

    Levers are classified as 1,2 or 3 based on where the load and effort are in relationship to the fulcrum point. Each type has advantages for the job it is designed for.  

    Now you can’t alter how the body is structured lever wise but you mis-classify levers.


    In the above picture you see 2 of the 3 characteristics for a lever. 

    Now in the above picture you see a class 3 lever being classified as  class 1 lever. Now the foot can be a class 1 lever but not while walking, running or jumping  unless you relocate the  fulcrum point in relationship to the load and effort.
